Program
What we do
- Provide a three-part Self, Vision & Community workshop focused on mental wellness, personal goals, and community connection.
- Tailor activities to participants’ ages, experiences, and needs, with sessions delivered in their preferred language.
- Offer follow-up support at 30 and 60 days to help participants make progress and evaluate the program’s effectiveness.
Steps
How it works
01
Self
Participants explore identity before and after trauma, reflect on their mental wellness, and recognize their strengths and support needs. They develop practical coping skills and a personal healing plan, grounding themselves in the present before planning for the future.
02
Vision
Participants explore their purpose, aspirations, and goals through activities tailored to their stage of life. Young people may map out personal and leadership goals, older adults may explore fulfillment and new possibilities, and newly arrived immigrants may build résumés, prepare job applications, and practice interview skills as they navigate an unfamiliar employment system.
03
Community
Participants explore where they feel a sense of belonging, which communities they want to serve, and how they can contribute. For newly arrived immigrants navigating unfamiliar systems, this also includes learning about local services and connecting with resources that support daily life and independence.
04
Follow-Up & Case Management
Participants receive follow-up support at 30 and 60 days to review their goals, address barriers, and strengthen connections to services. Their feedback and progress help us assess the program’s effectiveness and improve future workshops.
