1. Youth development programs: - [ ] Youth Peer Leadership High school students offered at Boston Public School sites and MJE. STEM Middle school students in partnership with Boston Public Schools. Second Chance Targeted support for ages 16-24 who may be out of school/work, involved with DYS, etc.Young Parents Case management and support for ages 14-24. MJE serves young parents at our Roxbury location through Brigham and Women’s Young Parent Program – Stronger Generations. 2. MJE Health Equity and Community Wellness Program: We believe that the individual’s recovery is essential for the recovery of the family and the community. Trauma can disrupt a person’s balance and requires a positive healing environment to restore equilibrium. 3. Adult education programs: MJE’s Adult Education and Workforce Development program supports victims of trauma facing chronic unemployment to become a force for community action and a candidate to re-enter the workforce. 1.
