DR. Josie Anne Augustin

Josie Anne Augustin, PhD, is a licensed psychologist practicing in the South Florida area. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she majored in Psychology and Sociology and minored in Counseling. She then obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Josie has completed several rotations, both pre-doctoral and post doctoral, providing testing and therapy services to a wide variety of populations. She remains passionate about providing educational and psychological services to help individuals meet with success and ensure global wellness.

Presently, Dr. Josie works at her private practice, Step Up: Child Psychological Assessment Services. She conducts various (neuro)psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and college students. Her goal is to ensure that, in what may be a standard classroom, every child has a chance at success. She also provides therapy services to address mild depression, mild anxiety, acculturation/ethnic minority issues, adjustment problems, relationship problems, and family/generational conflicts. She is bilingual and can provide services in Haitian Creole.
